airtex in line fuel pump

I am having fuel problems right now. I have a 92 civic vtec turboed with an FMU this kinda says my basic setup. Anyways, recently when I sometimes go to start the car, the fuel is not getting "primed" up to the front of the car and the car won't start. To get it to finally start, I just keep turning it to the ignition on position without starting it and listen for the fuel pump to pump up the line. When I hear this happen, it usually will start right up. I am wondering if I should get a new fuel pump, check the fuel pump relay somehow, or install this Airtex in line fuel pump or I believe it to be an inline fuel pump. And if so, how do I go about doing this? The Airtex fuel pump has a the flange bolt mounts and I don't have any lines or anything to mount onto it, so I might not be able to use it. Anyways, any input would help so I can stop being laughed at or imbarassed when my car won't start.
Thanks everyone,
Patrick

my car did that for a while too... my problem was the main relay... look in your haynes manual on how to check it, that could be your problem... ???

sell that inline fuel pump and get a walbro for $80-90.
if you have to use the inline, you should be able to tap the hole and use some fittings to connect it. post a pic to help us visualize it.
