air/fuel ratio gauge

Re: air/fuel ratio gauge
the gauges arent bad, its the sensors that run them. most use narrow bands and the voltage from 14afr to 15 afr could be a really big jump
you can use a narrow band gauge but a wideband sensor that you have programmed for the output that the gauge wants, i think most are 0-5v.

Re: air/fuel ratio gauge
Lightshow, but useful to me.
It saved me quite a few times.
No good for tuning though.
Was making a pass on 75 shot, pulled 4th gear, AM AF was dead read.....lifted. The hose from the ZEX NMU to the FPR had come off, I was running 75 shot but no extra fuel!!!!!!!
I also used when I was going for MPG, you can tell when the injectors are shutoff as your coasting down. I had also altered the TPS setting so I could crack the throttle open slighty so not to slow the car down coasting, but still not have the injectors come back online.
