Aftermarket fuel pump. Where in line series?

Where on the fuel line is the best place to put a inline fuel pump? Before the filter, after the filter. Also if the stock pump is gone do i still have to replace that one? let me know

as far as i know the ideal place is towards the rear of the car, and you need a intank stock one too

pumps are happier when they are pushing fuel, not pulling it. The farther back the better

1st, you *do* need to remove intank pump. Just put a hose instead of pump connected to that yellow plastic big filter in bottom of tank (when you open you'll understand what I'm talking about).
2nd - do *not* put pump inf front of car. I had problems due to that - it was sucking air from somewhere so pump was VERY noisy. Never figured how it was possible to have air ubbles in hose (suck air) - even tried to put it before/after gas filter, etc, etc... just never worked right... but after I put it in the back (there was some place in the bottom of car by tank) it worked flawlessly.. no strange noises... just works perfect :)

So. . . . . Do you leave the stock one in or do you remove it, everyone i've spoken to so far has left the stock one in place
