AFC settings. Something doesn't seem right

I was tuning my old Civic this weekend and something doesn't seem right. I'm using a PLX300 wideband and the wideband says the car is running rich but about 3500rpm's I have everything at -35. The AFR drops steadily until its rich. I though it was becuase the timing was too far retarted but I set the timing to stock and gapped the plugs to .028 There's still a little bit of breakup above 7000 but I don't want to take out more fuel cause something doesn't seem right. The setup is:

-D16Z6 2mm head gasket 8.0:1 compression
-T3 .42/.48
-8.5 JRC intercooler
-DSM 450's AFC hack
-Crane cam ignition w/ external coil

At -35 and the wideband says it running rich, whats going on?

it could be, i don't remember my settings exactly, but for the majority of my tune i'm around -37 on the high end i believe. Down low around 3K i'm at like -44, and i even had to bring it as low as -48 at idle.

What was your AFR? did you use a wideband?

nah i haven't had a chance to yet. I wanna get it on a dyno but i wanted to wait for the ------- monsoon to blow over. I have a narrowband A/F gauge and my apexi TT is able to extrapolate an A/F reading based on O2 sensor voltage, which, isn't accurate worth ----. But somehow i have a feeling that it's tuned decently. The WOT is rich as ---- and i carefully leaned out the bottom end by street tuning, and because the idle sucked. Just go slow with it. Also, check your O2 sensors. Mine fouled out and cause my car to run like hammered ----, which also caused misfires on all 4 cylinders. Basically, ECU sensed no O2 sensor, went into open loop mode, and dumped in ---- loads of fuel to compensate.

Yes I know how the hack works, thats why I made this post becuase to me it seems like I shouldn't be takeing out that much fuel. But thanks for the helpful post ::)
