AFC hack complete
 

completed the AFC hack last saturday. I just have one question are all dsm injectors supposed to be that loud? I know all injectors make a ticking noise when they are pulsing, but these things are real loud. I have no problems though. No more detonation in the upper rpms and i get 9 psi all the way out, with a peak around 10psi. feels nasty fast now. I cant even use first gear anymore...lol..In closing I would just like to say FMU's suck a$$.

Sweet! The injectors are probably louder because they're larger and are opening/closing slower.

FMU really suck that bad?? dam it, i just got one last week too. anyways, would it work ok if i use the fmu 10:1 , rc 370 injectors, and a v-afc? i don't want to trash my fmu, i just got it new. i want to go afc hack, but i already got the rc 370 injectors. do u guys think i should just sell my rc 370 injectors and my fmu, then go buy 450 injectors and use it wiht my v-afc?

Yes. Do this. Who needs the added complexity? You can keep the 370s if you don't plan on running much boost, say around 7psi. my .02

You'll come out with more money by selling those 370cc's and the FMU even after buying a set of DSM 450cc and resistor box. Yes, FMU set-up can't compare to how well the hack/450cc set-up feels. ;D
