5th injector 5th injector 5th injector......dont be skeerd beatch! those 450's are only going to be able to support a certain amount of boost,specially since your runing that huge ass turbo. it wont matter if your runing TE or afc. your gona be pusshing them to the max. or just get some lucas injectors. think about it, if the afc only see 9.1 psi, its only going to put out enough fuel for that, it wont compensate for the 15psi your actually runing. i rather run rich than lean,but what do i know. :P im sure the 100 octane is what is helping you out at 15psi. maybe you should just take it to a dyno to be safe.

When people want to run more boost than the TE map will allow, we fatten up the last fuel column. If the map sensor is only reading to 9 psi, then the last fuel column in the TEtry11 will be void cause it's at 10.3psi. The ecu would only give fuel for 9psi therefore you wouldn't be giving any extra fuel for the high boost your running. Just a thought that popped into my head when I was reading. Wouldn't want anyone to blow up their engine. Mabye a feature that when the stock map sensor is being used, the vac/boost values should only go up to 9psi. |

but if the map doesn't go above 9psi, then it wouldn't interpolate values above that correct?

A lot of people want to run higher boost, but don't take the time to change MAP sensors, they start fattening columns and so forth, which works, but is more of a work around, rather than a fix. ...oh well... |
