adding additional o2 sensor

hi there
im own a d16a9 engine (info below)http://home.arcor.de/maaoli/DATEN2.HTML
as standard it has no o2 sensor ....... http://www.markl.f9.co.uk/ecu-data/p...0/pm7-e020.htm
how can i go about adding an additional o2 sensor so i am able to tune my fuel needs for turbo better? I have an HF manifold so i believe i can simply buy a o2 sensor a place it in the provided hole or is it best further down the exhaust. any help would be great
thanks

UHmm it's ok there...yust connect it and put the signal wire to a A/F gauge so you can read the A/F ratio for tuning

no funny connections into the ECU or anything? do i need to make sure i get a 3 wire o2 sensor? like i said there wasnt one there from standard, it uses a pentomiter clipped to the side of the ecu to control the base fuel i think

Are you wanting your ECU to see the signal? If so yes you will need to wire it directly into the ECU, dead easy though, I can give you instructions if you want.
If you just want it for tuning, buy a 1 wire 02, and just run the wire straight to your A/F meter. It'll take care of the rest. I don't think it needs power (or if it does, the A/F meter gives it??) and it definitely doesn't need grounding - it is internally grounded.

thanks alex
so the circuit would be a one wire o2 sensor and AF gauge that sounds pretty simple. I'll let u know how it goes ... i know its not gonna be precise but its gonna be better than nothing and i cant afford wideband at the mo
