91 Honda Accord Code 43

We are getting a CEL # 43 on my fiance's 91 Accord EX-R. The Car is bone stock. The code will appear after about 20+min of driving down the highway. If i shut the car off the restart, after a bit the car will shudder then a few min. latter I get the code again.

Code 43: Fuel Delivery? Is that right? What is this, Pump? Injectors? FPR? We got this a year ago too on my buddy's 94 Civic w/b16. But I burnt a new ROM and never got it again.

Any help about how to narrow this down would help!

have u checked anything at all yet? i had that same code with my prelude, and it was one of the injectors leaking, i guess the oring was fucked up or something, so i replaced it and it went away. go to the fuel rail while the car is on, and if u smell gas, its prob the injectors, at least it was for me.

Bingo. Start simple first by changing your fuel filter. Check your fuel pressure and see what's up. Could be a faulty pump. I've heard that the stock Honda FPR's don't go bad that often.

Upon cold startup It smells rich. My fiances little brother complains on how bad the exhuasts smells on startup. I am wondering if it injectors. Time to maybe toss in the ol' 240cc I have laying around.
