450cc injectors installed, running like crap *I searched*
 

I searched and can't find anyone with my same setup and same problem.
I installed my vafc a few weeks ago, everything worked fine. stock b16 in a 1990 integra (turbo in 2 weeks). This morning I installed my dsm 450 injectors and it ran like trash, would sputterwhne you give it gas and has a really lumpy idle. I scaled them back everything from -50 to -33 and it ran the same at all settings (very rich I think). My car has a resistor pack already. ANyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Oh and also when I started it up, instead of going to 2k rpm like it normally does on cold starts until it heats up, it just sputtered at 1k..

Ok I got it idleing alright and what not but when I give it gas and say hold it at 3k it cuts out and falls to say, 2.4k then catches itself and goes back to 3k then if I take off the gas it falls really low, to like 500 and sputters there briefly then smooths out again. Reminds me of a vacuum problem sorta. any suggestions?

did you solder all the connections?

Mabey they are dirty?

I put them in a 90 integra w/ b16 so I already had the resistor pack (no wiring done). They may be dirty but I don't tihnk so. I'm getting fuel and spark. My CAI is busted at the water filter and just sucking through that and the part thats not attached, think that would cause this?

It shouldnt. Since the injectors were just dropped in (no wiring needed) I think the problem with the stumbling would be that they are dirty. Assuming all other variables are constant, and the AFC is good, there arent really any other options. Run some injector cleaner through there, or get some sea foam. That stuff works wonders. ;)

I'll try the injector cleaner tomorrow although I thnk I'm just running to rich. When I lean them all the way out to -50 the car starts then just dies from no fuel so I have some room to tinker tomorrow, htanks for the help :)

just a guess try a bigger fuel pump maybe???
