3 bar not work w/ uber? f-off!! 300hp b16 and 400hp ls/vtec b#tches!!
 

tuned two 3-bar map cars last week. warmup was a 9:1 b16 that netted 298whp (i'll post graph when i get back to the shop this week). just after that we strapped down a 9.5:1 ls/vtec that netted 404whp. owner of the car is going to add another step colder plug and tighten the gap slightly to fix the misfire. lsd is going in soon as well...torque steering on the dyno is a little uneasy feeling, but i can only imagine on the street.

nice and pretty. 14 before turbo spools transitioning to low 13 at beginning of spool transitioning to high 11's. i was very surprised how smooth the tuning session went. he brought it to me right after the build to do 1hr of tuning just to get it driveable for break-in. i fully tuned it to 6psi that night in just over an hour netting 235 that night. this setup ranks up there w/ the smoother/quicker tunes w/o any issues...a real fun one.

this is the third time i've tuned his car:
1st time=tired old b16
2nd time=fresh rebuild on current motor
3rd time=current motor/current numbers

he's already talking about adding/changing tuning for more boost and power.

298 on a built b16, how much boost? was it a small turbo or something?

8.5:1 (think i mistakenly said 9:1) 15ish psi, stock sleeves...100 degree weather and sh#t ton of humidity. atl summers suck!!! cast manifold wasn't helping either.

ls/vtec has stock sleeves too.

298whp @ 15psi seems slightly low to me.

My stock LS made 300whp @ 15psi.

What turbo is this? What's your final timing like?

it also has more hp to start with than an ls ;)
