22re engine management

hi i noticed a couple people with 22re engines on this site. I was wondering what kind of engine management you use to control fuel and spark with a turbo?

Hi.

I have developed a new controller for adding additional injectors. It can operate up to 8 additional injectors and has a built in map sensor as well as having an O2 sensor input. Using this system you can control the injectors using a simple knob which will richen or lean out the mixture accordingly. In the event of a lean situation the injectors will come on contunuously for a short period as a safty precaution. I haven't worked out a price yet but it should be around $200. Not bad for a system that will allow you to go to the mechanical limits of your motor!!

Yeah, I'd be way more than willing to pay $200 for what you described! If it IS as you described, send me some pics/specs and sign me up for one!

Here are the details as described by the guy who actually designed it. We can build a spacer to take additional injectors too. It sandwiches between the intake and the head.

BFE 100.

A Boost Controlled Auxiliary Fuel Injector Controller with Oxygen Sensor reference.

The BFE 100 monitors the intake manifold boost using an internal 2 Bar (28 PSI Max.) MAP Sensor and the O2 sensor to add a progressive amount of fuel as boost increase. The O2 sensor input is used to cover momentarily lean spots in the fuel curve. The amount of fuel added and the boost starting point for adding fuel is adjustable.

The BFE 100 is easy to setup - no laptop required, using front mounted knobs.

The BFE 100 will driver up to 8 Hi Impedance injectors.

Installation takes on average 2 hours not including secondary injector and fuel rail.

BFE 100 Connections

The Unit is 2.5 long x 2” wide x 1.5” high.

Introductory Price - US$200.00

Coming soon the BFE 200 a universal boost referenced timing retard box. Works with most stock electronic distributors and stock or aftermarket ignition amplifiers

Are there any pics of it? I will buy one in about 2 weeks if this ----'s for real.

We are just building the first ones now. Had to get orders for 5 to make it worth getting the circuit boards etched.
We also make a billet steel CNC machined Turbo manifold which is almost ready for production. It is made from two slabs of steel and the inner cavities are milled out using a cad file solids drawing, the two halves are then welded together to create the manifold. Not sure on price yet but should be around the $350 area. it looks really cool and flow/spooling is exceptional We also make other more simple stuff like pop off valves and flanges. I have a website under construction at www.steedspeed.com. not much there right now but should be up to speed soon.

P.S. We are building a 77 celica with twin turbos and will use his system.

Re:22re engine management

what engine are you putting in your 77 celica.....I have an 85 gt-s and i want it to be fast. So i have a couple of options....build the 22re and turbocharge it.......or...try to squeeze a 2jz gte in it. I havent decided yet.
