Default 2 quick questions

for those running an electronic boost controller (more specifically the greddy profec b spec II) i know that 2 hoses go to the solenoid. 1 hose is from the wastegate, and the other to the intake mani. what source on the intake mani should i use? this is the hose to the solenoid, not the hose to the unit mounted in the car, so its not the fuel pressure regulator.

and the second question is on my Blitz Turbo Timer. i grounded 2 black wires and 1 purple wire (on some turbo timer this would be the orange wire). does it matter if all these wires are ground at the same spot? or should they be ground a certain amount of space seperate from each other?

thanx

matt

For your Profec. You should go from the compressor housing nipple through the solenoid to the wastegate actuator. Pull your signal to the unit from you FPR.

i know that i am supposed to run it to the wastegate, and i already t'd the fpr. but there is no nipple on my compressor housing. i figured i woult be connecting it to the compressor because the solenoid says "com" but there is no nipple to put the hose on, so what should i use?

Any strong vaccum source will work.
