2.5Bar Install - Idles Hard/ Vacuum Hunts How Do You Clean an Idle Up?

Im very very new to tuning let just say that, these are the first 10 maps Ive burned

I went to a tuner a week ago and tried to tune my car on a 3 bar but it just wouldnt work, car wont idle, car wont run, but it did boost ------- great

So I bought a 2.5bar kit from xenocron, comes already solderred with a red/white/black wire which I will try and figure out myself (done now)

I then picked up the ng60_splittime basemap off of xeno's website and tried it out, the idle was hunting everywhere from 500-1200, a/f from 14.1-15 but the motor was shaking pretty good, vacuum was dippin around and well it just ran like ass

I richened it up by 15% to 12.5:1 and the idle seemed to stay more in one spot, but still hunted around, rocking the motor and the vacuum stil took dips form its normal -17 into the -10 area

Then I tried to take away 15% and the a/f went to 18:1 and the motor didnt like it and it keeled over.

I figured I better make a post

The car is an 88 Crx si, obd0 with a d16a6 engine vitara pistons and eagle rods, built head, delta 272 cam. T3 .60/.63 turbo and a 3" open downpipe. The ecu is a pm6 and the injectors are dsm 450's

Can anyone help me get this idle sorted out? Once I get this and sorta understand it I might be able to fix my axle problem, then i can deal with partial throttle tuning

ps-its cold as fawk outside @1am

Thanks guys

Did you download the latest version of TurboEdit with the latest NG60 code?

Are you using code for the 2.5 Bar Map sensor? If you are trying to use stock map sensor code it might run and all but you will see issues.

Check out the thread at the top if you havent already...

Where can I find turboedits latest version?

I just switched over to a 3 bar map sensor with a tune that we tried on my car and got the boost portion mint and did partial throttle a good bit but couldnt get the idle down, can you help me out xenocron. If I can send you the bin and you can modify it a bit for me or something, the air fuels jump between 12.4-13.6 and the vacuum jumps around with it, just a clusterfuck idle. Its wired perfect to

Throw me as many bins as youd like and id try them all. Willing to pay

The latest version of TE I have is in the sticky at the top of this forum...search around on PGMFI for the 3Bar version...I am sure there must be one.

Even changing the map sensor in the options of TurboEdit might work...using NG60 of course.
