2 or 3 bar map sensor with vafc hack?

Can a 2 or 3 bar map sensor be used with the vafc hack?

I could see it working, yes, however, if you don't adjust your fuel and timing maps.. you're going to be screwing yourself.

Your maps will be set for a 1bar MAP sensor, and your voltage scale would be for 3bar, and you'd be scaling your MAP signal based on the 1 bar which is what your ECU would be reading.. it's a mess.

The fuel map is easy to adjust. Will it affect the timing map a lot?

Well, on your fuel and your timing map, because your map sensor signal is being scaled, so are the "columns" on your fuel and ignition table. This is bad because the column values scale, but the physical grid values do not. Therefore, your injector pulse width is shorter to compensate for the larger injectors, but, your tiing is radically advanced.
