12 PSI dail driven?
I have a 1990 Integra LS and have been researching a lot on this site by reading posts and would like to build a custom turbo setup soon. I want my project to be in two stages. First stage being 8 psi and second stage would be upping the boost to 12 psi daily driven. I want a larger sized T3 turbo that spools quick but also pulls hard in the higher RPMs. My only question is regarding fuel management. I figured for running 8 psi that a 12:1 FMU and stock injectors would be sufficient but for running 12 psi I'm not so sure. My thoughts were a AFC with 450 DSM injectors but then I read that they don't work past 11 psi. So my question is what components would be necessary for proper fuel management at 12 psi. Money not being an issue. Thanks

if money isnt an issue go hondata, or EMS.
theres home made programs in the engine management section u can also checkout (wink) turboedit.. |
Re:12 PSI dail driven?
if money isnt a question, then what the hell are you waiting for....buy a standalone fuel mang!!!!

Re:12 PSI dail driven?
I ran 13psi with the 450cc/AFC hack without throwing a single CEL. I dunno if I just got lucky, but I didn't have a problem.

Re:12 PSI dail driven?
same here but with an smc...only cel's were fuel system too rich (from part throttle cruising), and cel for no cat
