I bought the Moates burner to replace my dead Batronix Eprommer v3.2.

Really, the Batronix lasted four years, and burned a LOT of chips and dealt with some abuse and it comes *with no case* to protect the PCB. If you are into MCU development, it's a really sweet unit. But, these days, it costs as much or more than the sturdily encased Moates.net alternative, and if it's anything like the old days you still have to come up with a power supply. Moates get's it's power from USB.
