In late May of 02 I bought my 4th Crx, a 89 Red SI. Very similar to my old one. This car was a insurance total that was bought back for dirt cheap. I removed the AC system first, and installed a D16z6 vtec head on the stock D16a6 (aka the Mini-me) The mini-me can put out some pretty decent power, it has a relevantly high compression ratio to be turboing, but when you have great fuel/spark management you can fine tune just about anything. I am using a 14b (TD05h) DSM 1g turbo with no intercooler.

My 89 Honda Crx SI. Stock output with a NA mini-me is roughly 130hp and a pretty high c/r of 10.8
