injector/fuel pump question

I'm in the process of boosting my 2000 eclipse gs. I have a TD05h 14b off a 1990 talon. My question is if i'm only going to be at 7-9psi could i get away with my stock injectors and fuel pump? I've searched and found a lot of useful info but i can't find anything to do with a similar question. My car has the 4g64 2.4L engine and it's got the 275cc injectors. Let me know what you guys know. I don´t know so much about eclipses but i believe you can stay with that pump but you are going to need at least a FMU to increase the amount of fuel when hits boost

New here and first post.
You will need to look carefully at the fuel supply system a basic rule of thumb and common sense when you think about it,if a Fuel Injected engine sees an increase because of an addition of a Turbo or an increase of boost pressure over stock Turbo boost all must remain equal.
Therefore add 8 psi boost you increase fuel pressure 8 psi,then you have to take into account how this affects fuel flow.
Therefore do you require a higher volume fuel pump possibly larger fuel lines adjustable pressure regulator etc.
Quite simple really when you think about it.

Thank you. Thats kind of the answer i was looking for. What about the injectors. Do you think they will be able to handle the extra fuel? It's not a lot of boost. Either way, if i get a new pump and injectors or if i'm able to use the ones i have, i will still have to run some sort of FMU. Just need to find out if its possible with the ones i have. Otherwise i have to mess around with wiring in new injector wires, possibly a resistor box of some sort as well.

275cc injectors are good for ~170 max hp. depending on what you are doing as far as tuning will determine what needs to be done. considereing the engine puts out ~150hp stock there doesnt appear to be any wiggle room on the stock injectors. rule of thumb with boost is the vehicle will make 10hp for every 1psi of boost. you want to run 9 psi so you can assume the engine will produce 90hp more than stock. that puts your hp value up to ~250hp.
if you install a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator(1psi fuel pressure rise for every 1psi of boost) at 9 psi boost your stock 275cc injectors will only be flowing 300cc. know where near enough for 250hp
if you use a shitty fmu your stock pump will not survive and you dont want to pressurize your fuel system that high.

my recommendations:
1:1 boost reference fuel pressure regulator(this replaces the stock fuel pressure regulator)
550-600cc injectors
walbro 255 intank pump
its not mentioned but an intercooler is a must
custom tune.

awesome information! i really appreciate it. that pretty much covers everything i needed to know. except the size of the injectors? i have a set of 440's that came off the car that the turbo did. they are in perfect shape and i have a feeling 550cc - 600cc is not necessary for only 7-9psi. the 255 pump with the pressure reg is the way to go though. I do have an intercooler but it's only a side mount. i have to do some research on exactly how effective they are. FMIC's are $$$$$$$$ haha.
