New to HMT
My name is Justin and I'm running a 95 Talon Tsi. I bought it with no tranny in it almost exactly a month ago. I bought the car on a wed and went and picked up almost everything to do a awd conversion. I wasn't able to pick up the car till that fri. I got the car home and immediately started on the awd and manual conversion. I found out when i was almost done with the conversion I had a major crank walk problem. So out came the motor and i went and picked up a 2.4 short block and a 1g head and intake. Also got a few boxes and totes full of parts. In the parts I got a 1g bov, walbro 190 fp, AGR waste gate actuator, fp rewire kit, all new exhaust studs, banjo fittings, AN fittings for oil return from turbo and alot of other misc parts. When I picked up the awd conversion I also picked up a cherry picker(thank god i did), stock 97+ headlights, and FMIC. The car had 510cc injectors in it when i picked it up.
The Car also had 97+ Eclipse front and rear bumpers on it with projectors head lights. I sold the projector headlights and puttin the stock ones in it. Also has a gsx wing. The car has alot of the interior pieces painted blue which im trying to get it all stripped down. It still has the 95 Talon twisty sides on it. The paint job is crap so I'm going to repaint the whole car. I'm going the same baby blue my Integra was.
So far I have the awd and man conversion done, the 2.4l short block pulled apart, honed the cylinders, ordered pistons and rings, installed new water pump, timing belt and pulleys, all front engine seals and gaskets, BS removed, Oil passages blocked in the block, FMIC installed. I'm waiting on the bearings and rings to get here so i can finish the bottom end. I'm going through the head and cleaning everything.
I have ran low on cash so there is only so many things i can do to it right now. I do have a eprom ecu so i am going to chip and program it. I have downloaded Tuner Pro to set the tune with. There are more things I have done and cant remember.
