Default Middle of Illinois new guy

To introduce myself, i will say that i am very learned in the technologies of boost, and go-fast-isms. my back story includes my very first Turbo build, a 86 nissan 200sx notchback (sorry no pics, none for myself just memories) after that things went cold.

I got out of high school, did the college learning thing in general auto mechanical (if you could call it that) I also was able to take some courses in automotive performance, be careful with those, mine were very limited as the tech school i went to was small and we could only handle what the instructor already knew about.

then I moved a lot, and worked almost every job out there, trying to find something i didnt hate. I ended up getting a job at a parts store, liked it, parts store went belly up. Then i found a job at a stereo shop as an installer. I got heavy into all that and started messing with auto security as well. I spent some time under the wing of the big techs at J.L. Audio (if anyone even knows who that is) then i was hanging out with the big guys at Computech and fortin industries (auto security and oe integration). I thought i had my know-how pretty set, and the guy i was working for ended up screwing my over pretty badly. So i ended up taking a job selling parts again, now im the assistant manager at a Green Box parts store, which almost funds my habit.

my current daily, 14:1 compression 8v, aba bottom end, e85 (all work in the head) this will be turbo next go around, as i have a better head for it and a custom sri

my turbo project thats in progress is on this, it is currently in pieces and is receiving a k03, standalone oiling and a second head gasket. for those that dont know this is actually an 82 yamaha seca or a xs400r. its an old school 6 speed bike 400cc bike that yamaha built to run with the other 400cc-ish bikes of the day. it is very advanced for its time. and im not looking to break records with the power from this, i do however look to wax some much more modern 600's

there is also this on the burner, currently receiving some paint. this is an old *** picture and doesnt represent the lowered stance, staggered 18'' evo wheels or anything. im trying to source some home made supercharger stuff for this one. i may end up modifying a m90 because this is a super tight budget for this car. it already dynos at 320hp at the wheels all in head work, intake, headers, removal of the mechanical fan, stuff like that. i love this car, it will walk away from stock mustang gt's, or z28's from a dig. and on the highway with room to work, it will pull away from many heavily modded cars as well. including a s/c Trans am that used to lurk on the highway around here.

hope to let you all see completed projects of all of these. ive been creeping around here for quite sometime and i decided today i would go ahead and make my presence known.
