D16A9 Cam Gears (ZC - DOHC non-vtec.)
I have asked this several times in several forums and people doesnt seem to agree.
I need to now wich model of cam gears will fit my car.
D16A9, ZC, DOHC non-vtec
Some people say D series are universal so i should get the ones for the D SOHC series. Some other people say that i need the ones from the B16 DOHC because this are smallers and the others will not fit.
Has anyone done this for real? Wich ones i need? Thanks.

HKS and JUN makes cam gears for the ZC, but they run around 175 a piece.
Their is a link somewhere in this forum, a guy asked the same question and I posted him a link.
You can also use any B-series cam gears B16/B18. They have the same tooth count, but the offset is slightly off. I have used B-series cam gears on my ZC without problems.
D16a6 and D16a1 cam gears do not fit on the ZC.

i am from england and have a D16A9, what parts do you have so far? noone hardly has these cars/engines in the UK and i dont think the US and Japan had that engine. Australia seems too, Netherlands and Africa from what ive found.

Hi, thanks for your help.
I will get the AEM cam gears for the B16.
Im from Panama, Latin America.
My car is a CRX 91 Si, and was imported from Europe.
So far i have got a OBX header (i got a 9hp increase from it, my best mod so far), cold air intake, stage 3 clucht, custom made pipe, obx bomb 3 muffler and some regrind cams, thats why i need the cam gears.
Also have strut bars, low tie bar, tokico blues, axxis pads and drop zone coil overs.

they are very similar, actually differneces, I dont know since I have never had one in front of me..
my guess is differences in:
ECU
CAMSHAFT
possibly intake design or even pistons
