zc intake manifold, same pattern as 89 teg?
hey ya'll......whats goin on? after completing my first hand made header, i wanna make my own intake manifold for my zc. after seeing yours jeff, i just need to have one on my car. i was wondering if the 89 integra was the same basic thing as a zc, cause i know it would be easier to find one than a zc. i want to cut the flange/injector bosses off and weld to those......any pointers on making this thing ? thanks, adam

thanks man. i assume the ports are the same? i hope so. as soon as the weather clears out here i'm gonna go hit up the junkyard and get this project started. by the way, hows the built zc comin along jeff? the ls/vtec is looking ghetto fabulous man...seriously...i really enjoy the updates you guys give on your crazy *** racecars

the race car is still in a coma.. Ordered some new str cam gears for it, and going to put the tranny back in this weekend.
We may have another car in the works... surprise..

what kinda project car? man, i wish i was in washington, i am dying to work on a turbo honda. hopefully this summer i'll get the money. what is the inside of your venom copy manifold like? is it just the 5 intake runners extending up into the larger box area? do they protrude into it at all or are then just flush? thanks man, adam

the car? heh, top secret... actually we have no idea yet, but trust me, whatever it is that we have, we should make something interesting out of it 
The intake is basically just a box on the end of the runners, its an exact copy of the STR manifold. Inside the runners are smoothed out real nice into the chamber, I should take some pics..

sweet man. if you get some pictures, post em if ya got time. what is done on yours about vacume lines and sensors? you have the zdyne, so maybe you dont need any of those......whatever....thanks man, adam

a junction block? that a cool idea. does that just tap into the box part of the manifold? i have never really looked to hard at any manifolds....i should see how all the vacuum taps in.....i assume they just go into the manifold....well anyways, i'm gonna hit the junkyard in search of a 89 integra. post some pictures of this manifold dude.....that thing is a trick piece.
