hummm.....the fuel level solved my problem.

-- You said you have a new filter, and a new pump to install. I would put that new pump in there, and see what happens with that. It has to be something within your fuel system. It might not play a part in it, but have you checked your TPS or anything like that?

havent tried any sensors yet maybe i should it has had a cel for a year now.....forgot what the code was but i was told not to worry about it....ill try to fix that ----!

But maybe now you have more than just one CEL, check this, maybe it'll give you an answer

code 9.......thats the only one i got....it flashed once then paused and then kept flashing 9 times and pausing

Check the dist plug wires. make sure all is connected.

if it's all connected get a new dist.

ok so the problem went away fro a day and a half but now it came back at a lower rpm like 1700 give or take. but it is everytime the needle crosses the same point...just dies, above or below runs like a champ! on a side note i just filled up for 1.99 a gallon woo hoo!
