I suppose it's fair when you buy a car, it gets wrecked, and they pay for the whole thing? Maybe you even make out on it?
I never hear anyone complain when they total their $600 car and get back more.
EDIT: you are also paying for everyone else here who profits by scamming them. Just like how stores have to find a way to make money after people shoplift. There is no victumless crime.
Hell no I wouldn't buy something I knew was stolen. You're funding theives.

Why do I have insurance? cause if I ---- up, I don't ---- YOU people over. Or would you rather me not have insurance and slam my bullet into your car.
Insurance = rape don't bother telling me otherwise.

Anyway, I wouldn't buy anything that I knew was stolen from an individual, especially not local. I personally wouldn't worry about an intercooler with the serial numbers ground off though...it just dosn't seem reasonable to me that somebody would grind the serial number off an intercooler...I mean, I didn't even know intercoolers had serial numbers.
As for thieves, insurance companies, and bottom feeding maggots, they're all the same ------- thing, give them what they deserve.
