Ah yes, that sick feeling I'm getting in my stomach right now is from the pansy *** political correctness that takes place in this day and age. Lets face it, almost every immigrant population from the time of this country had to deal with the problem of langauge. I don't recall any other immigrant group getting special treatment to make it easier getting past the langauge barrier. And most of these immigrants early on were white, so that trumps the over used race card. I know my grandparents and many people their age spoke french as their only langauge. The school system frowned upon and even punished them for speaking it. If that were the case today people would be in histerics and crying discrimination/racism. Lets take off our rose colored glasses for a second and just face the fact that all people who come to this country should and have to learn English. It's only for the their benifit to get ahead and make it easier for them to succede. After all wasn't the opportunity this country offers their reason to come here?

Well one something that most of you forget is that the problem actually exists. So what are you gonna do, sit on the internet and bitch about how pissed you are or are you going to look for some sort of a solution? Honestly, you guys are so damn worthless that whine and bitch and whine and bitch wouldn't have any clue as to deal with the current problem.

Do we say, screw you Mexicans its up to you to learn the language you should of thought of that before you came here, or do we acknowledge that we have a massive population with whom we cannot communicate and attempt to solve the problem? You can say its their own problem all you want, but its everybody's problem no matter who is at the root of it.

Can anyone acknowledge that not everyone comes here for the same reason? I personally know and have spoken with at length to literally hundreds of both legal and illegal immigrants from Mexico. Probably thousands. Some do come here for the wrong reasons and end up as leeches to our system. Others came for the exact same reason that my anglo-saxon ancestors came for.

I admitedly do not have the solution to the current immigration problem. However, I do not think merely complaining is going to solve anything. I have within the last 5 years come to speak spanish fluently and am currently minoring in it. I have had a huge advantage in the 4 places I have worked. Should the ppl I speak with in Spanish know English because they live here? Sure. Many actually do to some extent. However I'm not going to be left out of the loop because of some whiney shitty attitude.

Everything that has to do with Illigals or other races is based on money issues.If they were to kick out that 48% of students *** some of you so intellegently concluded would solve the problem,the school board(DISD) would be forced to close schools thus effecting the economy by putting "Americans" out of work.So the solution to the problem is to have a few staff members learn spanish and the problem is solved.Its a win win situation...........You ******* feel superior but god damm you ******* are stupid

It's pretty simple if you ask me considering we are in the Unites States of America, and in America the language we speak is English, am i correct? Therefore, people that don't know English should take classes, and not bitch and moan about not being able to communicate. Have the parents who supposibly can't communicate with the principles taken English classes, do they go out of their way to learn the language in order to live here, if not why should my and any other tax payer dollars go into forcing people to learn spanish in order to accomadate (s/p) their needs. But wait this is all of our problems right because their American citizens. Well hell, we should all join together and help the millions of poor people who are American citizens get on their feet and find jobs, right? We should make specific laws giving them a " "% percentage of our money (tax money) so that they can live a better live. Isn't that what their doing for the spanish community now? Giving them our tax dollars to pay for spanish speaking people to teach teachers their native language in order for them to talk. Why should we focus on this, when we have much bigger problems like ghetto's, crime, etc. Oh and by the way before some of you try to pull the racist card on me, i'm in no way racist, i have black/asian/hispanic/white friends, and what do you know i'm black/korean. People just have different views and need to learn how to be open minded about them.

Now i don't know if the parents are even attempting to speak english, but if they aren't i say we shouldn't go out of our way to help them, regardless of the percentage of students their are. Everybody came to America knowing that we speak English, we didn't tell them it would be easy. Those are the type of decisions you have to make when moving to a country and i believe you should have to take the proper precautions if your going to take a big step like this. I'm sure their's some German kid's parents who can't speak English to well and can't communicate with the principle should we force the teachers to learn German too. Before anybody says but that's only one a fraction of the people in America, aren't they too American Citizens. Well that ends my rant for today.

This is exactly how I feel. I have no problem with Mexicans moving to the US. Hell, my family originated in Poland and Germany. They came over on the boat looking to start a NEW life. They learned the language, integrated into American society, and still kept their roots and traditions. It's not about dumping every vestige of your last culture, it's about integrating into your new culture. It's hard learning a new language, but so is leaving the only country you knew for a better life. Speaking the language would be my very first priority if I ever decided to move elsewhere. And I don't necessarily mean being fluent and articulate with the new language, just learn enough to be able to communicate with people around you, and you'll continue to learn more as you go.

Got through about half of this post and realised how much time i would waste reading the rest of the ---- that's being digged out.

A. Spanish school for spanish speakers and english schools for english speakers. This sort of sounds familiar,should we also go back to having to splitting everyone else from the whites in school. After all, minorities only "drag down this country"

B. Guess what get used to hispanics taking all the shitty *** jobs in america, because 20 times out of 10 there is a white man sitting behind a desk counting all the money he saves from not employing half *** lazy hillbillies.Started back when your fathers were still in your grandpas ******* and, america contracted mexican farm hands and asian laborers. Back when Mexicans and all other imigrants were not considered "illegals".

C. As far as everyone who comes to a America, it's all but natural to speak the native language. Guess what though? Where the ---- are they supposed to learn that ---- from? Going to schools they can't afford, let alone barely afford the cost of living here. Or maybe they should ask the goverment that they dont trust and think that will deport them.

D. Half of you inbreds don't even live anywhere near where this is happening so who gives a ----, you probably live more than a hour away from the nearest city and have a blog to tell everyone of ---- no one cares about so go find a pole to rub your ***** on.
