I agree that going after employers would be the most effective method. YEAH JULIO, i WORKED FOR A GUY BEFORE THAT HIRED ILLEGALS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Albert, I post this kind of stuff, because A) it's happening in our world, and it's stuff that everyone should at least be aware of. B) because it gets some people thinking, some people talking, and some people mad. C) because if I didn't post something interesting, this post would have been occupied with a story about someones average day with no pics.
I also was wondering if I posted nothing but actual, factual news about the subject, if someone would mention the word ****. lol.
The time for being quiet about this subject is almost over. The more we talk about it on HMT, the more people realize where they stand on the issue. As much as people would like believe, it's not that the people are mexican. They could be Asian, Polish, Canadian, ect. ect.... It's a social issue, mexicans just happen to be the majority of it.
Question: When an illegal goes to the DMV to get his license, what will prevent you from knowing if his name is Juan Carlo, or Beto Sandoval? Will it be his matricula consular card? I hope not. It's well known that these mexican id cards can (and have) been bought by the whitest of Americans (who provided fake names) to show that they are an invalid form of figuring out who anyone really is. Now, if anyone can buy one of these cards with anything printed on it, and then take it to the DMV for the drivers license, is that really in the best security interest of the country?
And that card seems to be the most used one by the mexican government. Is there any other card with any more credability?
On top of the fact that you are giving the benefit of driving to a felon, you also don't really have a way of verifying their name, birthday, or living address. How does anyone defend that?

Here's another story for you turbojon. (although fictional)
Chad is a 12 yr old kid. Chad's mom really doesn't like looking after him, so she takes him to the park everyday and drops him off. The park was fun for a day or two, but with Disneyland being accross the street, Chad wanted to go there instead. He told his mom he wanted to go there, but she said she wouldn't buy him a ticket to get in.
The next day his mom dropped him off at the park, and after she left, Chad went accross the street and snuck his way into Disneyland.
He had so much fun riding the rides and having a good time. The next day Chad told one of his friends what he did, and his friend got dropped off at the park with him the next day. They both snuck into Disneyland and had a ball all day.
Pretty soon Chad told everyone he knew how to sneak in and go on the rides all day just like all the paying people. The number of people sneaking into Disneyland got to be crazy. Because there was so many more people at Disneyland, they had to hire more mechanics to fix the overworked rides, more security to help cut down on theft, and more employees to sweep main street. All of these added employees drove the cost of operating disneyland up, so disneyland ticket prices went up $2 for everyone. Everyone except Chad, who kept sneaking in and telling more and more people how to do it.
Some of the security gaurds actually caught Chad sneaking in with a bunch of his freinds before. The security guards didn't seem to say anything or do anything about it. Almost as if they knew that if they cut down on the amount of people sneaking into disneyland, they wouldn't have as many people there, and they wouldn't need as many security guards working at one time. The security guards sometimes even helped Chad and his friends sneak in. It was crazy.
Meanwhile, the paying disneyland customers kept wondering why the ticket prices were getting higher, the lines were getting longer, and the fun was actually getting lower.
Oh well, Chad just wanted what everyone else wanted. To have a good time. Is that so wrong?
