The aftermarket rods/pistons are designed to have more "flex" in them, so that they don't break the second that there is a sense of detonation (where as factory rods and pistons will not be as strong and not ready to "flex"). Don't let someone tell you that the D-series motor can only handle "200" horsepower because thats bullshit, easily right now with 11 psi I was hauling around 220sh wheel horsepower

You guys seem to be forgetting that 10psi on a T25 is going to produce different HP than....oh say, a GT-60 at 10psi. I can create 20 additional horsepower per 1 psi given the right turbo.

Supercharged civic si, with weight reduction and other mods only hit a 15'2 (one of my friends that went with us).
And again, my point was lost. I'm not talking about aftermarket rods actually bending, thats why I put flex in quotes. They are simply able to TOLERATE more then factory rods.
However I do need to augment one thing I said, the sleeves will not be able to tolerate higher horsepower, but its not the rods themselves that are incapable of withstanding (as long as the explosion is smooth and they're not shaking, there should never be a problem).
