I just ran down the store to get some cigs about 20 minutes ago. Buncha kids in a riced up neon sittin there starin at me when I pulled in. Left the car runnin (small town, nobody bothers to steal cars :P), ran in and got my smokes, came out and the one kid asks what I have in the car. Since I decided to take my turbo off my car today, I told him it's just a bone slow b16. Kid then asks me if I have vtec in that ---- :1 So I told him yup...2 of em and drove off

^ You reminded me, I loved when people asked if I had Vtec in my civic (d16z6 autotragic) and I was like.. well yes...then that was followed by "omg it must be so fast" :1 NOT QUITE.

some of the locals around my town cant seem to grasp the concept that a long block isnt a longer stroke... this one kid kept asking me after i swapped my b16 in my car if i bought the long block or the short block. i was like umm the complete swap with the trans. hes like well wich one is it. im like i guess u could say a long block but with a trans and the ecu and everything to swap it and hes like ok so u have the b16 with the longer stoke.. at that point i just decided to go with it and say yea cuz he was one of those kids who thought he is always rite lol

The one thing I get a lot is people asking me how much boost I'm running, and when I tell them 20 on pump, they tell me I'm going to blow up my motor.
That's when I quit listening to anything they have to say.
