man.. i remember a time when i didnt know crap about cars.. that was bout 8 years ago. I bought my first car (88 mazda rx7) solely on the looks of the car. not knowing anything about it. boy was i a stupid kid then. but hey we all have to start somewhere. but dumm *** kids today need to ask questions and not make statments.
i mean.. it's okay to say, "dude, iono ---- about car or it's mods."
but i got to admit, i hate people who only read forums and read about other peoples setups and results and pretend they are gods in that department of modifying. people who have extensivly read and have informed themselves with of certin modifying procedures. basicly people who have 0 wrench time. those person i dislike the most.
they claim to know everything when it's absolutely neccasary to have wrench time to be able to perform a modifcation.
those people **** me off more. it takes Both Wrench time and Book research to learn the true basics of modifying.
what the saying goes, "are you books smarts or street smarts."
obviously it's best to know both.
i mean.. it's okay to say, "dude, iono ---- about car or it's mods."

Today I showed my car to a guy that goes to UTI, he didn't know jack crap. He looked at my UICP and goes, "cold air intake huh?" he also asked what stage my clutch was...I have a 6 puck sprung, "whats that?" I didn't expect him to know everything about the car but he didn't even know the basics

I have the One for the books.
My friends and i were pulling a motor at his dads shop shop and this 20 year old guy starts talking about how his motor is supercharged (94 s10 vortech) I go wich car is yours? He said the chevy....Ok well pop the hood. I told him it wasnt supercharged. He then looked at me and then said is says vortech on the motor thats a type of supercharger isnt it?
Then my buddy was in shop class and he asked this kid where the distributor was he pointed to the alternator. My friend then asked, where is the radaitor. The kid then said " theres proboly not even an engine in here"
I ask stupid ? but come on thats just sad
