Okay so I blew a head gasket, of course not too long before the next import race event at woodburn (---- like this always happens before dyno and track days). Anyways I went down to the honda shop and ordered a new head gasket and I already have that. I wanted to make sure to get everything here by thursday so I wouldn't be doing everything the day before I needed my car.

Of course I can't reuse my stock head bolts so I ordred some ARP head studs. Who did I order them from? Lightning Motorsports. I called wednesday and said I needed them overnighted. I have ordered a walbro fuel pump from them before and had no problems, but last time I ordered wheel studs they ended up shipping them to my old house and I didn't get them in time for the track, so I couldn't go.

Well guess what, I woke up today and checked my emails... THEY ------- SHIPPED MY HEAD STUDS GROUND! I call them up like WTF? Well they can't do ---- since they are already shipped out. My only option was to spend another 90 bucks and have another set overnighted. I will get my money back when I ship the other set of studs back, but ---- I didn't want to deal with this ----. I already spent $100 extra bucks overnighting parts to make it to the last track event and I couldn't even ------- race because lightning motorsports fucked my order up! So basically if you ever call them, before you hang up, go over the order again and specifically make sure it's correct.

IF MY HEADS STUDS DON'T GET HERE ON TIME I AM GOING TO KILL THOSE MOTHER *******!

I know I said I needed them overnighted, so basically the guy on the phone just fucked up and wasn't paying attention, maybe it was my fault for not making sure before I hung up, either way it's still gay.

Oh and when they shipped my wheel studs to the wrong house? Yeah I told them over the phone I needed them shipped to my new house, I gave them the address I needed them shipped to over the phone. Yeah they just shipped them to the address on my account because it was not updated.

So basically I have come to the conclusion the guys on the phone are lazy.

i've done dumb ---- like that too, waste all the extra money for over night parts and ---- and having something else ---- up or go wrong. imo, patience is virtue and you can't make every event hope things work out for you though.

I think it's the HMT curse. I swear everytime any of us HMT guys get together for a race event, dyno meet, etc... something always happens the day or night before. Example... this head stud deal, the last wheel stud thing, my boost controller not getting here ontime for the first dyno event, me braking my tranny at a street race, me breakig an axle, my tranny before the last woodburn race, jeff's oil pump beforethe last dyno event... should I go on? Of course it always works out, but damn it can be stressful!

I woke my *** up before 10 in the morning on wednesday and called. Luckily I just happened to get up early today and check my email, if I wouldn't have did that I would have been fucked. Actually now that I think about it I would have just re-used my head bolts if I didn't get the head studs in time (I can just change them after the track). There is no way I am missing this race event.
