You guys remember ****'s ugly Jeep? (PICS)
Well its still ugly ...
but I am starting to buy stuff to get this thing in gear.
I am really motivated now do build the truck, and I am starting now with the lift and canopy removal.
So today at work I priced out some stuff, and actually because it was so cheap, bought it all. I have to actually make a few of the things I paid for, cause we're out of stock, but this is what I got.
First thing is 4" Lift coils for a TJ Wrangler. Wranglers have heavier spring rates, so these will be nice up front with the longarm kit.
I also ordered a set of custom shackles to lift the rear 1.5" and am looking into an add a leaf to add another 2" or so.
The other parts will consist of the longarm front suspension which my brother in law Jerry will build, a set of Centerline wheels and 33" Tires, a Ford 8.8 with rear disc from an explorer for the rear end (narrower and stronger), and some coil spacers we have layin around.
Said and done with this leg of it, I will have about 3"-3.5" in the rear and 5-5.5" in the front. Gonna have that funky squatted rear stance to it like a baja truck kinda, but its gonna be a blast.
I will probably take the truck to Oly this weekend, do Perfek360's turbo install, then leave the truck there for my brother in law to do the longarm setup.
After the lift, canopy removal, and some cooling system repair it will be time for the next step.
Phase 2: Cheap *** FMU style turbo buildup Stay tuned
