i dont know what it is around my area (nova) alot of people rock the primer black on civic's accord's and just about anything you can think of that the ------- foreners can put a muufler on and pretend in carbon fiber and that they are hot ---- in their rice rockets. that ---- must add huge power gains considering i see about 10 a day. i might have spray my hood black and act like its carbon and see if i can get an extra 50hp out of it. just had to get this off my chest!!!!

i thought that each primered black part added 50-60 hp depending on how many coats were added? :1

well if thats the case my crx is primered black and when i get to the dyno i should have about 7-800 hp then

my crx is flat black thats not what i was ranting about i was ranting about all the mexicans or what have you that rock just the hoods like that trying to play it off like its carbon fiber and think their dented up POS is fly or something when they dont have a clue what fast is.

What's the big deal about having a black hood? It doesn't mean they think it is carbon fiber, maybe they just like the look of it. And when does it stop being rice? When it outruns you?

look at my avatar flat black car and crx si silver hood i have the whole anti- carbon thing going on. saying all cars like that some look better than others but when they have a clamped on exhaust tip and about 10 apc,greddy,apexi,and fear this stickers all over it and then the flat black hood it just shows they have no idea what they are doing or how to go about doing it. i am a true fan of flat black dont get me wrong this post was just my .02 cents and how are scene has went to ---- since the movie came out and is progressivly getting worse due to overexposure and that we true diehards that have been in the scene for many years are taking the blame for what people who are trying to look fast are doing to it. it just irks me that when i go out i get pulled over for driving a hooked up honda and that i was peeling out or my exhaust is too big or some bullshit like that. if the movies wouldnt have come out all the fakes wouldnt be around making bad names for all of us in this scene.
