also i didn't tack weld the pin because there's an even better fix for that now, there's these tabs that attach with the ring gear bolts that go over the ends of the pin, they work spectacularly and only cost $5 bucks, sweet eh?
ha, yeah i can't run through gravel with my puss feet- i had my shoes off cause i was washing the car and didn't want to get my shoes soaking wet. i figured someone would catch that- i should have just said i put all my money into my car so i can't afford shoes :P

I wish I lived in a place where it was that warm this time of year.
Looking at your setup I'm surprised the hood fits as well as it does. We were going to turbo a friend's neon but we were going to mount the turbo lower to deal with the exact problem you're having. How about clocking the compressor housing about 30 degrees forward or getting a tighter elbow for it.
Something else we were going to do was hack off his manifold and make a sheet metal one so he could fit a mustang TB on instead. The stocker pointing straight up sucks ***.

this is just a guess, but you are using an FMU right?
a friend of mine frequents the "honda-tech of neons", neons.org and they always talk about how "the afc hack is so stupid, just ask any turbo honda guy they will tell you that an FMU is the way to go..good for 400hp!!!!"
whats your fuel management setup?

anyone that tells you that an fmu is better than the afc hack on a honda is a moron- if you've got more tuning ability more power to ya- unfortunately the only other option for neons is either a full stand alone which costs $1000.00 or this thing called megasquirt which i don't have the time to figure out and solder into my car. although from what i hear it's a really good system.
