Re: yay i got arrested... again
i mean, you may think georgia is fucked up or something, but i can assure you that if you go down to georgia, with a suspended license in new york, and try to get a license b/c you're cousin lives there and you can use their address or whatever. they'll type your name in the computer, then laugh in your face.

Re: yay i got arrested... again
i live in NY have CT license...and my NY is on the virge of getting suspended chances are if you get pulled over with an out of state license you have a better chance of talking your way out of it....
i actually have to go to court for a ticket in a couple days
i really don't care if i don't have anything i'll still drive and i'll get arrested and it'll be considered a violation of my probation so i'll probably have to go to jail too...but ---- that. Driving should be a right, NOT a priveledge- it's bad enough to pay the outrageous fines they have with the ------- surcharges. But then they want to take your license so you can't go to work. ---- that i really think thats the biggest bullshit in the world. I can understand DWIs but speeding and ---- like that is another story. There aren't speed limits in europe and those countrys have been around for wayyyy longer than the US.

If driving were a right, than you would have to let every single person in the world be able to come here and drive whenever they want. Including old people, retarded people, and kids. That's stupid.
Their fines are bullshit, but when you get a DUI the judge usually will give you permission to drive to work/school.
I feel left out having never been arrested before. :P

how can you get a serious moving violation like that and not expect your driving priveleges to be removed? standard procedure.

Re: yay i got arrested... again
I worked for the DPS for a year and a half before moving (Texas Department of Public Safety). You can attempt to get a license in another state, but they will find out. There is something called the PDPS (problem driver pointer system). They will run you after you apply and get the license in most cases, and send you a letter telling you that you can't drive. If you do get an out of state license and they suspend you, you will most likely owe the NEW state fine money for being suspended.
After your suspension is up in your current state, you will show up in the PDPS looking suspended in the second state, because you owe them money. If you don't pay off the second state, your original state will suspend you AGAIN.
The old advice about getting another license in another state doesn't hold water anymore. They are all connected through PDPS. They scratch each others back that way and get $$$$.
Your state doesn't have to "prove" you received anything. When you get your license, it is like clicking "I Agree" on a web page. By getting a license you agree to all the terms of the state... I know it sucks, but I worked with suspended drivers in Texas all day long.
Try to get an "occupational" or "work only" license. Call your states DMV for that procedure.
Oh.... even if you present an out of state license, they run you by name and DOB, so you get srewed either way....
It sucks for people named "Juan Gonzales" too. The odds of same name and DOB are through the roof mang....
Hope that helps.

I don't know which part of that story is the dumbest - driving drunk in the first place, DUI as a minor, assuming they didn't really suspend your licence, or resisting arrest.
I have no repect for drunk drivers. Sit at home and drink your life away, I don't care, but don't endanger the lives of innocent people on the highway.

I won't say anything about drinking and driving because I'm guilty of that. I don't get stupid though. I've learned my lesson. I'm super paranoid about it. I know alot of people say it and it sounds dumb, but I really do drive better after I've been drinking. I don't speed and I am VERY catious, but it's still very dumb and I'm retarded for doing it.

DUI is for ------- dummies, i don't care if you get caught or not or whatever. recently i heard a story about a cop who killed a mother of 3 children because he was DUI. ------- moron should be castrated and forced to eat it.
