I wouldn't go as far to say I would rather work in my garage, but alot of that ---- is unecessary. I don't even listen to music when I work in the garage. I just work. No distractions. I was thinking about putting a TV in the garage, but what good would that be? Maybe if I had a garage with all that extra space and an air conditioner and I could actually chill out there, but when it's 110 in the garage you don't want to be out there all day.

my wife and i are throwing around the idea of making a garage with a house on the backside of it. a 2 story one would be a pain in the *** in the winter, you would have to worry about ice and and all of that ----.

but...
her mom and dad mentioned making a steel pole barn, and make the inside all industrial like, and make 1/2 garage/ 1/2 living quarters...not a bad idea, kinda cool if you ask me. -and it could be done pretty cheap to.

man all i have in my garage are 4 flourescent bulbs hanging above me and thats still not enough light! i have to use another one cause when i pop the hood up it block the lights.

Im working on something else though so that i get enough light all around.
I also can open my doors all the way though. its a small garage but i still get to work on my car.

Doc your a weird dude! i need music so i dont feel all alone and ----. Tv's in the garage would make me want to sit donw and not finish.

But still nice garage...a bit over kill but hey , if he likes it that way then ---- it!

That's why I couldn't have a TV. I don't know why I don't listen to music in the garage. I just don't have a radio to bring out there. It would be a pain in the *** to bring my house stereo out there. It's all business in the garage with no distractions.
