No ----. The big all motor prelude motor I tuned has been nothing but headaches from day one or should I say multiple big allmotor prelude motors.
yeah maybe, it only has ~8 passes on the dyno, 4 at the track....trailered everywhere else mostly. had some easy miles on the road

Motor may have never had proper clearnces to begin with from that little of mileage/abuse. I dont think I have seen a worn bearing so bad in a long time. So did the motor always have a slight knock to it?

Nope, only the last pass at the track.

Honestly, I barely heard the knock at the last pass...I could feel it more than I could hear it and it only "knocked" when blipping the throttle. Holding it at 5000 rpms at idle I couldnt hear ---- :1

If you feel it through the clutch pedal it's the H motor telling you LOL MAINS.

There is something wrong with the design, IMO. Crank flexes more than the block or something.

Pulled the oil pump apart yet?

WE lost 2 timing belts on the 300whp all motor prelude motor, things sure like to zip those ******* off. Im kinda suspect has you have numerous times that the H has some serious issues has had the builder of the big power all motor H.

Knocking from the oil pump is non regular rythm though correct Thas how mine was anyways... Sounded bad, but not cyclic....

The only bad oil pump I've "heard" personally was the BRMS car, it was cyclic at lower rpms. Sounded like a rod knock.

Havent pulled the pump off yet...but it made proper oil pressure, even with all of this shizzle going on.

So did the BRMS car, right up until it tore the mains out of an ERL sleeved GSR block.
