XBOX 360 VS PS3 Currently

Re: XBOX 360 VS PS3 Currently
I own both PS3 and xbox 360 and compared the side by side yesterday.
Control Panels:
1. PS3 can not play background music while playing games like you can using the 360 control panel. I love to play my music through the xbox when playing racing games.
2. Xbox new control panel feels more clutered than the old xbox control panel, but its still better than the current PS3 control panel
Networking:
PS3 network is super slow compared to the xbox 360. You have to pay for the gold membership, but you see results. PS3 is free.
Free Online Demos:
xbox have alot more free online demo games. Most of the times I just play a demo's free play and dont buy the game. So free demos are important to me.
Graphics:
I have not see a game that is that much better in either Xbox or PS3 so the are pretty much equal. Most game reviews will agree with me on this point.
Controller:
I dont like the positioning of the PS3 second analog pad, I'm guessing this comes from a xbox background.
Used Games:
Because I'm a cheap ***, I only buy used games and there are more of them for xbox 360 plus they are cheaper. The game selection on the used ps3 games seem to be pretty small right now.
Movies:
Both players upvert regular DVDs through HDMI and vga. I havnt used the blu ray player yet. Both systems allow you to watch shared media through TVersity or Orb. The xbox did a better job on playing shared movies in the quality and proper size.
Noise
I think the Xbox 360 is louder than the PS3.
I think the PS3 might have more potiential, but they just cant get it together... So I recommend 360 for right now.

As someone else said, the "newer" 360s, ie ones made in the last year or so, should not have the initial failing problems.
The top model PS3, last I checked, did not come with any component or HDMI cables. Why advertise a system's HD graphics then pack in the cheapest cables that can't even display HD?
The ONLY thing I like better about the PS3 is the built-in bluray player. Unfortunately for Sony, I have no use for it.
Hmm... I can download a 720p 4.6gb file in less than an hour, or a 1080p 8-10gb file in less than 2 hours and keep my money. Or, I can spend money to buy a disc, and any time I want to watch the movie I get to search for the disc, take it out the case, remove whatever disc is in the player and put it up, then put what I want to watch in the player.
I'm too lazy for that ----.
