Yes because you should wear a white button down, a tie, and khaki's to a black tie optional event.....

Please don't suggest there aren't weddings like this as I've been to one and know of more than one. Some people are pains in the *** and want everyone to dress up. These are the weddings I suggest everyone skips as you end up spending $300 on a suit and $100 on a gift so you can eat mediocre food and drink $30 of liquor. OMG so worth that $400 I just spent.

who goes to a weddign and doesn't try not to score some *** lol. i need to goto more weddings of peopel i don't knwo too well lol.

there are alot of different types of weddings, some are real dressy and others khakis and a button down would be appropriate.
