run ad-aware and a virus scan, sounds like you have a hijacker file or virus on yer comp.

did all that already. i ran adware,spybot and tryed uninstalling, still nothing.

do a system restore and restore your computer to 1 week ago, before you had this problem. just go to start, programs, accessories, system tools and then system restore and follow the steps. the entire proccess takes less than 5 minutes to do.

woah guys! You are going a bit far. Now, about:blank keeps coming up. Have you tried deleting all your temp files/cookies and resetting it? And also, why is a homepage that important? I have about:blank because it doesnt freeze up my pc no more :P

It's a browser helper object. Run hijackthis and find what it is, then disable it.
