They actually did talk to me about microtech of course, he tried to sell it to me at first, but I saved a lot of money with the Utec. Rolo was in the drivers seat, but while I was having the limp mode issue, he could not figure it out, so he called Serge, he's the one that owned the white WRX that ran 11's and he was using Utec until he hit low 12's, so he knew what to do. They both jumped in the car and got it done. After it was all done I asked Serge if there was a difference or more power to be gained with Microtech, he said no.


definately, 300 should not be a big problem, or I can cheat and take it to a dynojet and get the 300hp dyno sheet

the tercel has a 89 mr2 supercharged motor they took the whole supercharger out and made it turbo me and dav were talking about it but i dont think he took many pictures of it

It's all good, I just need to get a few more things and I'll be there again. I might do a race fuel tune also, for track nights. I can store 10 maps with the Utec.

For all that ppl say about Utah, it's actually pretty good place to be for an enthusiast. Cobb is right down the way from me, and so is Phantom Motorsports which I'm sure none of you recognize, but it's where Cortney Green tunes (remember an 802 hp daily driven hatch ).

But yeah, there is quite a bit of emnity between them all. Phantom just changed locations and is going to only focus on Hondas right now (why waist your time with the other crap when you have got one thing down so well) and Cobb is obviously all Subies. So any of Honda ppl kinda feel like Subies are for rainbow chasing hippies (no offense davcivic :P)

Those boxer motors sound so damned sexy.... would almost make it worthwile working on one. I cut myself regularly working on my crx, that enginebay would probably be the end of me.

None taken, most WRX owners are rich kids for some reason, but I know what you mean. I have a civic and the WRX I like fast cars being imports or domestics, I don't care for stupid little kids that think their Hondas are the ---- and the ONLY ---- out there. There's more to motorsports thAn just Hondas.

As far as working on the car, it proves that you really like what you are doing, when even after going thru hell with the engine you are still willing to keep the car. Also now I can charge more to others that want things done on their cars, with the excuse that is harder to work on them, I would charge you $50 on a civic, but this will be $200
