im located in st.lucia ( caribbean). We recieved a light tree or what ever its called some time ago but i am yet to see it in action. i have a vid of it being tested somewhere, i will post it later.. The problem with buying the equipment for a proper track is that, the area we race on is goverment land, its an old air port base. Its not fenced or anything so if someone were to buy all the equipment then he would have no means of getting his money back cause you cannot restrict or charge people or racers coming the the track. We also cannot fence it cause it would be illegal. If it were private land or something i would pay for the equipment myself if i had the cash, but i dont and its not. Then again i dont own a car worthy of taking to a track so i would just be paying for someone else to have fun. Does anyone know exactly what equipment you need to have a fully functional drag racing track, and how much it would cost ? another thing, not everyone down here has parachutes on their cars, to my knowledge this is the only one.

I doubt the car in question needs a parachute.

You have no track to beat the kinks out of a vehicle on, and measure objective gains, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a beat down ED chassis with rust/350 whp D16/trailerpark suspension setup on a set of slicks would yank every (slow pathetic AWD or IRS) car on your island out of the hole and far and away outstrip them from a roll. Short of an absolute master of a chassis, which I doubt there's one much less multiple on an island of a few thousand people, you just have the usual rich blowhards throwing parts at a vehicle in an ignorant fashion.
