500 is cheap enough,
but it really depends on how it got damaged.

but u can still make some$ by parting it out.

well my buddy told me about the car, and i waunted to use the ecu, guage cluster, wiring harness, tranny and rear disk. he waunted the engine for his hatch. then i saw the milage and had second thoughts. just dont know if i would trust stuff with 200,000 on it??

Not all high school kids are dumb

I'd probably buy it, depending on the damage. With the stuff you want, I don't see a problem with the mileage, except the tranny, might want to be careful with that.

its hard to find the EX civics with Discs in the rear...my buddy used to have one...I dont really see that big of an issue with it...the rear calipers are still in really good shape and the components to convert are all there...its worth it for the ECU,cluster, and brakes alone. But you still have tail lights, interior pieces, door panels, if its the EX with discs...it probably has the nice door panels witht he built in tweeter pods(a big plus to some). Rear Seats/front seats, trunk interior paneling...I say its a pretty good deal...considering the parts you are getting are worth nearly that much...

I dont really see what the big deal is about the price. Its nothing great. If mileage on the motor is a concern rebuild the damn thing with OEM parts and it will keep your costs down greatly. You can get complete rebuild kits cheap.
