I borrowed one of these from my buddy, after I tried hacksawing...

the local "backyard muffler shop" ------ uses this:

works pretty well to. it only does straight ---- though. if i had to buy something, i would do what hotsex said, hit up a local pawn shop. you cna find decent chop sawz for under $50 all day long.

my friends intercooler piping made by me.... hacksawed
my downpipe and friend's..... yet again hacksawed
i look like im single
but after all that ----, i can just about cut so that you do not need to grind away for the two pipes to fit together nicely (i didnt say the cuts were straight
)

I would go the hacksaw method, but I tend to shy away from any form of exercise. I'm liking the pawn shop idea though. I'll check out them hoes tomorrow and by hoes I mean pawn shops.

Sawzall are not that great, they don't make straight cuts, the blades bend like nothing. I used a hacksaw for exhaust/IC and my adapter plate, 3/4" cold steel bitch!

I used a sawzall on all my charge piping, down pipe, and dump tube cuts... worked perfectly!
I borrowed the sawzall from my step dad and sprung for a few new blades for it... with those new sharp blades, it cut through the piping with ease and it wasn't hard at all to make the cuts straight...
If you use the sawzall correctly and rest the base plate against the pipe, then start the saw and drag it through the pipe, it works like a charm!
