It also has all of my stereo stuff installed in it already
1. Sell the stupid stereo stuff and 2. buy a tranny and 3. obd-1 conversion & turbo it... faster in all three steps
Only problem with that is step #1....cant get rid of my stereo. How much would a tranny conversion cost total anyway?

turbo it man..

if you dont rape it too hard, your tranny will last you (very) long enough to scrounge up 500-1k for the manual swap.

How'd the auto feel? Was it worth it? Any numbers? Tranny problems?

you can do it way cheaper, Tranny $100, Clutch $100, Misc. $100 (pedals, lines, clutch cylinder, flywheel, shift linkage)

If you scrounge, you could find a descent junkyard clutch and do the whole thing for under $250. It's all about the junkyard. If you want a light flywheel, descent clutch, etc, you'll pay a lot, but you're poor and hauling a bunch of stereo junk.

Just do it. I turbo'd my friends d16Z6 auto and that thing pulls perty good on 11 PSI. Just make sure to get an external oil cooler for the tranny and keep checking the oil often. Good luck.

I have a stock clutch line from my swap still. You got that part then, which is a bitch to get in perfect shape.

You are not looking at a lot for the swap. You can get a new clutch for cheap from anywhere. The trans can be had for cheap also. Jung4g is in the ballpark. $300 or less and you are good to go.
