Guild wars is similiar to WoW but ill say this, NOTHING COMPARES to WoW... seriously. to much to do, so much going on. i dont own it, but i will when i have to much time to kill. No torrent for thsi one guys, it even cost monthly to play for those who dont know

holy ---- that game is addicting. say goodbye to your social life. me and my roomate play on stormwind server or somethin like that. my roomates day consists of waking up, going to work, coming home, playing WoW for 8 hours and going to sleep.
it will EAT YOUR TIME UP. its fun none the less. even if you dont play all day every day

I used to play warcraft 2 way back in the day, thats pretty much all I did and the reason why i stay away from video games, they take up way to much time.

I swore I would never buy this game, yet a few months ago I gave in. One of my roommates bought it and that was the last straw; if he was able to be convinced to buy it then it must be worth trying. I had around 7-8 characters on 4 servers at one time. After a month or so I settled on a main, which is a dwarf warrior on Dark Iron. I estimate I've put about 7-8 days of /played time in over all the characters I've started, and that includes the 5+ days I've put into my warrior. This game has a bad reputation for ruining people's lives from addiction, but I think I'm proof that it can be played in moderation. I've never skipped work or passed on invitations to social outings to play WoW.
