It just arrived in the mail about 5 minutes ago, I'm so stoked, I can't wait until I get some more mig wire to add it on to the system. WOOT

Here's one of the one bar spring. I was over at my uncles shop yesterday and he has a bunch of spring just like this, I'm gonna play around with it to see if I can get the boost down around 10psi.



Here is a pic under the cap, I was reading an article in the faq's about how I can modify it to hold lower boost, gonna play with the sping from my uncles first...



And last but not least here is a pic of a pipe that I have no idea what it's for I know what the little nipple on the cap is for but no idea what this is there for, any ideas?

it's a audi (maybe saab/volvo, i forget) wastegate. you're going to need a flange to mate up the the four bolt part of it, the other part is where you're going to run your dump tube from. there's an article in the forced induction FAQ on how to make it adjustable i had one of those a while ago but sold it b/c i didn't have a welder at the time to flange my mani to accept it.

Spenser it's an audi wastegate, and like you I was surprised how big it is.
Projekteg do you know what the pipe if for in the last pic, I just fixed the pic I forgot to download it to newbieforces :P

i'm pretty sure that connects you the nipple on your comp. housing. i posted the thread about it in my other post, it may say for sure.

Wouldn't the little nipple connect to the compressor housing?

Spenser I paid $50US, so about $68Canadian shipped to my door. Pretty good considering what a TIAL wastegate goes for and these are basically the same thing.

Saabs have similar ones.I did'nt think you could use it on anny other cars .I pulled one once frome a parts yard and then left it couse I didnt know I couse of used it.....oh well.
