kick ***....my friend chris who is the tech at nu image auto salon gave me a IHI RHB5 for free. I went in to see him so he could replace my TPS sensor cause my dog chewed the plugs while the motor was on the ground. he hooked me up for free on the TPS and he said " hey i got a turbo i want you to check out for me real quik " so i said sure...i look at it...no shaft play any direction what so ever...no oil on any fins...has everything but the downpipe on it...no cracks anywhere on it...wastegate flange has been changed out to a brand new one...and i told him it looks like its been rebuilt or that it was never used at all...he asked how much i could prolly sell it for and i told him prolly 75 to 125 bucks depending who buys it. He said " here, you just got a free 100 dollar turbo then " i was like kick ***... so now i have to find me an adapter plate...im picking up the exhaust housing later on today for free also....hell...im gettin all sorts of ---- for free...he gave me an entire D16A6 swap for free...ecu..engine...tranny...i just put it into my crx HF over the weekend. damn i love having good friends who have lots of ---- laying around there trying to get rid of.
well i just wanted to mention this...im just having a good day today....hopefully i can get the hook up's when i take my extra flywheel to the machine shop to have them shave and balance it for me

I'm just kidding, I don't know Chris. But thats cool you have a kickass engine, drivetrain, ecu, and turbo all for free!!! I get sloppy seconds and have to pay for all my shyt. lol

well i got together with some people i know and they sent me to this shop up north of me and i told them who referred about my lightening the flywheel and the owner hooked me up for 45 bucks on shaving and balancing from 18 to 11 pounds...it will be done friday he said because he is a little busy with some other peoples clutch setups. man im just having a good day...i hope this streak doesnt end...but i know it will...
my friend johnny with the nation's fastest kia...14 seconds all motor....he gets ---- for free all the time because he gets prototypes and all sorts of custom stuff for next to nothing or free. its almost crazy...today he got a stage 2 clutch setup for 78 bucks with the pressure plate....next week he is getting an enlarged throttle body and new prototype cams for free...but then again his car is the fastest and he has all sorts of sponsers...its almost outrageous....
well i need to go pick up these springs...another thing coming to me for free...later all

dont they have all motor honda's running in the 10's. Wtf 14's on a kia that is slow as hell. If i bought a kia or hyundia(they are sister company's) i would run the ---- out of it and take advantage of the warranty. ---- i just might do that when i get a decent job after college. may be all tricked out with the ricer body kit like the homeboy in town.
i wonder if i can get free ---- if i pimp out a honda insight or maybe a toyota echo

you could prob get sponsored if you got an insight into the 14's all motor with its stock engine. but that would be damn near impossible, but it could be done.
you just gotta get a car that has no aftermarket and make it fast, then you can start getting sponsors and prototypes (if they want to even make parts for that car). or just have connections and try stuff out for companys. test fitting stuff for companiees is not as cool as you might think, i got my turbo, intake mani and exhaust manifold that way but i had to modify the hell out of them to fit (and pay $200 in machine costs). takes a lot more time and you have to write reports and take pics of everything. also your car will be out of commission for longer. you have to have another car to use while doing all the fitting.

well..see his 14 second kia was high 17's from stock...i think its the spectra...and now he has it running mid 14's...which is great work cause its all motor...it has fully interior and a sound system in it too...so keep in mind about all the extra weight. its mainly for show but it kicks ***....
we were thinking if kia ever wanted to do a commercial with his car we would do it like a mastercard commercial and it would go like this......
$2500 for transmission work
$3800 for engine work
seeing the look on the domestic car owners face when you tell him he just got beat by a kia.....priceless!
those prices i stated above were just thrown out into the air...he has maybe put 1000 bucks of his own money into the car...excluding the price of the car...rest of the parts are free prototypes he can keep...aint it grand
