i was hunting when i was that age. there nothing wrong with it as long the kid is responsible...i never used a pistol though, always a rifle....me and my buddy would always grab a 22 and a 12 gauge and go squirrel hunting back behind my house..dad didn't give a rat ***...i was always responsible though...
