Well anytime I have to use her car for something, she ends up having to drive my DD. 90 crx si. stock. Which is fine, but she always says "the car is acting up " or something like that. Well yesterday she calls me up and said that she was driving it and heard this god awful sound, followed by smoke! So I told her to shut it off, and just leave it where it sits. So next morning I go look at the car. I know the ac tensioner pulley was bad so I just took the belt off so I could hear of anything else that would be making any noise. Car starts up just fine. let it warm up till fan comes on, then raped it up and down the road couple times. nothing . car runs perfect.


long Story short, do any of you guys go through this aswell? I think maybe the pulley just locked up or something and burnt the belt? who knows. I never have any probs with that car either.

she doesn't know. She just said it was coming from the front. lol. I didnt see any signs of anything. Maybe she's secretly telling me doesnt wanna drive it haha
