volumetric efficiency is what stock 4 bangers have and what stock v-8s don't have. v-8s gain more from intake and exhaust because they have more volumetric effiency to regain. 4 bangers get less response from intake and exhaust because they came out of the factory with the environment in mind, and that requires making the most out of less.

You have no idea how sad these "street racers" are out here. Stock 4 bangers with header/fart-can think they can win races. Then they think by adding a 50 shot(lol, thats sad) they can beat up on mustangs.
There is no replacement for displacement, technology works here too.

Sorry gotta add one more thing, most of you are cool in my book, you concentrate on going fast, not looks. But some of you who think you are somehow superior to mustangs and the "punks" that drive em, you look the same way to them, just another dumbfuckled ricer revving the **** out of his 4banger.

Speak of the devil, I just bought an 89 lx 5.0 shell this past weekend. Hopefully gonna bring it to the house sometime this week so I can get to workin on it. Yes some mustang guys are asses, and the same goes for imports. It's not the car you drive, its the person driving it.

LS6 is a bad *** exsample of how you don't need 5 valves per cyl. over-head cams, and 9000rpms to make good power.
